Summary: | This article was made with the aim of determining whether in Colombian households a rational use of energy consumption is made and in accordance with the results found to implement the methodology of solidarity action developed in the provision of the Unadista social service, oriented in this study in contributing with the fulfillment of the objective of sustainable development number of production and sustainable consumption. The study is quantitative retrospective cross-sectional cut. The target population of the study consists of 30 Colombian households, selected through the non-probabilistic sampling technique, as long as the total information of the households in each ward was not available and they were required to strictly comply with the established features for the study. This was developed through 3 phases: solidarity diagnosis, action plan and implementation of solidarity action. Within the results, households have several appliances, often used. Almost everyone has a 24-hour working router and set-top box, along with the use of smart devices that require the use of chargers, and leave connected most of the day, which increase the consumption of kWh evidenced on the bill. Finally, the implementation of the action plan was oriented to the rational use of energy, promoting reflection on the importance of acquiring responsible energy consumption habits contributing with the sustainable and sustainable development of Regions. |
