Description
Summary:This article is the product of research based on the CIFE (2016) methodology for documentary records to know the state of the art of studies on learning self-regulation in children and identify possible links between this, the socio-educational approach and sustainable development. Scientific articles published in the last three years in Latin America and the world were consulted in databases. The concept of self-regulation is similar to others such as: self-study, self-learning, self-improvement, co-regulation, metacognition and executive functions; it has been associated to variables such as academic performance, motivation, physical activity, learning styles, teaching practices, neurodidactics, among others. A definition is proposed for sustainable socio-educational self-regulation as a result of the research.
