Description
Summary:The experience of the solidarity and savings bank Yes Huan of the indigenous-Zapotec municipality of Santa Lucía Miahuatlán is analyzed, which grants consumer loans and micro-business to its members. The objective is to determine their characteristics, their organization and results. In the light of liberal-intercultural communitarian theory and human development on a human scale, it is observed that, by combining community and liberal elements, they give sustainability to the service based on community participation, constituting an innovative form of community management and citizenship to overcome poverty through the combination of individual and collective capacities.
