Keywords: Legitimation, Political violence, Intergroup conflict, Beliefs.Este trabajo presenta algunas cuestiones importantes desde la psicología social para la explicación de la violencia política; entre ellas, se destaca la importancia de los grupos humanos como actores principales del conflicto intergrupal y las creencias grupales como elemento central de análisis en la legitimación de la violencia política.
