El artículo se realiza bajo una metodología comparativa a partir de documentos oficiales de la Alianza del Pacífico y la prospectiva de los resultados esperados, buscando dar respuesta a un tema trascendental: la posibilidad de un nuevo camino para Latinoamérica al adoptar iniciativas regionales como la Alianza del Pacífico, que logre el ideal de integración latinoamericana o se convierta solamente en un modelo coyuntural que propenda por desfragmentar aún más la región.

To do the different opportunities and objectives of the project to establish the consolidation of productive chains and integration among the countries of the region are identified.
