El municipio de Pamplona, ubicado en el departamento de Norte de Santander, es un municipio que ha venido presentando grandes cambios en las últimas décadas, que lo ha llevado a convertirse en un polo de desarrollo para la región oriental del país, debido a que es una de las principales ciudades del Nororiente Colombiano. Pamplona cuenta con potenciales tanto educativos como culturales, lo que hace que las personas se vean atraídas a asentarse en la ciudad. Debido a ésto se viene presentando una fuerte demanda en las instituciones públicas que contribuyen al desarrollo del municipio, ocasionando así que sea necesario el planteamiento de nuevas infraestructuras para permitir una mejor calidad de vida y un acorde desarrollo del municipio con la población. Por ello, el Hospital actual de Pamplona no tiene la capacidad para atender a toda la demanda de personas que requieren un servicio de salud debido a su pequeña distribución que no cuenta con los servicios médicos necesarios y no posee una eficiente infraestructura que vaya acorde con las normas legales vigentes que deben tener todos los edificios hospitalarios o entidades prestadoras de salud. Por lo tanto, se plantea como proyecto de grado un hospital en el municipio de Pamplona, una edificación capaz de abordar toda la problemática que se vive actualmente y con el fin de dar una solución desde la arquitectura a los problemas de cobertura, calidad y avance tecnológico que se requiera en este tipo de edificaciones a nivel nacional como municipal. |

Por lo tanto, se plantea como proyecto de grado un hospital en el municipio de Pamplona, una edificación capaz de abordar toda la problemática que se vive actualmente y con el fin de dar una solución desde la arquitectura a los problemas de cobertura, calidad y avance tecnológico que se requiera en este tipo de edificaciones a nivel nacional como municipal.The municipality of Pamplona, located in Norte de Santander in Colombia, has been presenting important changes in the last decades, making it a development center for the eastern region of the country since it is one of the main cities of the Colombian northeast. Pamplona has both educational and cultural potential which makes people to be attracted to settle in its territory or in its neighboring municipalities causing most of the transient population end up eradicating in the urban area of this municipality. Because of this, its demographic growth has been requiring the State a high demand on public services that contribute to the development that is lived in the municipality and that contribute to satisfy the population needs. Thus making it necessary to propose new infrastructures in order to allow a higher quality of life and a consistent development among this municipality and its population. Consequently, nowadays the current hospital of Pamplona does not have the capacity to meet all the demand for people who require a health service owing to its small distribution, that does not count on the necessary medical services and that does not possess an efficient infrastructure which goes along with the legal provisions in force that all hospital buildings or healthcare institutions must have. That is why, the new hospital for the municipality of Pamplona is proposed as a project.
