description Due to the increase in the number of seniors, where the age is over 65, and the existence of a high number of single-parent households, it is necessary to have elements that offer independence to this population group. Hence research was carried out where a system is proposed that allows monitoring, safety and comfort applications to seniors. Raspberry Pi was used as an embedded system to process data from different sensors, as well as interface for Internet of Things connectivity. The system's proposal focused on the automation of a home, listening to the entry and exit of authorized persons in the house, activating lights at the entrance of the house when detecting a person's entrance, temperature control of the enclosure and the feeling of the hummed ad; the data obtained when performing the described tasks was stored in the cloud in order to be reviewed online. The implemented system allows to regulate the conditions inside a house and maintain the right environment for the older adult, in the future it is expected to increase the number of parameters monitored and obtain a system that allows greater autonomy.

De allí que se realizó una investigación donde se propone un sistema que permite realizar aplicaciones de seguimiento, seguridad y confort a adultos mayores. Se utilizó Raspberry Pi como sistema embebido para procesar los datos provenientes de diferentes sensores, así como interfaz para conectividad con Internet de las casas. La propuesta del sistema se centró en la automatización de un hogar, sensando la entrada y salida de personas autorizadas en la casa, activación de luces en la entrada de la casa al detectar el ingreso de una persona, el control de temperatura del recinto y el sensado de la humedad; los datos obtenidos al realizar las tareas descritas se almacenaron en la nube para poder ser revisados en línea. El sistema implementado permite regular las condiciones en el interior de una casa y mantener el ambiente adecuado para el adulto mayor, a futuro se espera incrementar la cantidad de parámetros monitoreados y obtener un sistema que permita mayor autonomía.Devido ao aumento do número de idosos, onde a idade é mais de 65 anos, e a existência de um elevado número de agregados familiares monoparentais, é necessário ter elementos que ofereçam independência a este grupo populacional. Assim, a pesquisa foi realizada onde um sistema é proposto que permite o monitoramento, segurança e aplicações de conforto para idosos. Raspberry Pi foi usado como um sistema incorporado para processar dados de diferentes sensores, bem como interface para conectividade da Internet das Coisas. A proposta do sistema centrou-se na automação de uma casa, ouvindo a entrada e saída de pessoas autorizadas na casa, ativando luzes na entrada da casa ao detectar a entrada de uma pessoa, o controle de temperatura do recinto e a sensação dos zumbidos anúncio; os dados obtidos ao executar as tarefas descritas foram armazenados na nuvem para serem revisados on-line.
