Respondiendo a la actual demanda de turismo en la provincia de Soto Norte, se propone crear un hotel en el municipio de Charta, Santander, que integre componentes del ecoturismo y permacultura, al generar una experiencia que le permita al usuario y habitantes del sector, disfrutar de la riqueza natural de la zona, y a su vez, promover la sostenibilidad por medio de la recuperación del bosque nativo y su fauna oriunda al crear bosques comestibles que brinden alimento tanto a las personas como a otras especies animales y al mismo suelo; y al hacer una reposición de material vegetal, usando el pino canadiense existente en el predio para la construcción y sembrando especies acordes a la zona de vida húmeda premontano y montano bajo del este hábitat. El predio abarca una extensión de 70 hectáreas, de las cuales se tomaron 2.68 hectáreas para el planteamiento de la propuesta arquitectónica, la cual comprende tres edificaciones: La primera corresponde a la recepción y vivienda para la familia residente; la segunda a un restaurante con un vitrina de venta de productos locales, y salón polivalente que puede servir para eventos del hotel o de la comunidad; y por último la casa invernadero, donde se integran habitaciones tipo para el alojamiento. También se cuentan con grandes áreas comunes como un lago, un mirador, una zona de rocas para meditación y senderos |

También se cuentan con grandes áreas comunes como un lago, un mirador, una zona de rocas para meditación y senderosResponding to the current demand for tourism in the province of Soto Norte, it is proposed to create a hotel in the municipality of Charta, Santander, which integrates components of ecotourism and permaculture, by generating an experience that allows the user and inhabitants of the sector to enjoy of the natural wealth of the area, and at the same time, promote sustainability through the recovery of the native forest and its native fauna by creating edible forests that provide food for people and other animal species and the soil itself; and by replenishing plant material, using existing canadian pine on the construction site and planting species consistent with the humid premontane and lower montane of this habitat. The property covers an area of 70 hectares, of which 2.68 hectares were taken for the approach of the architectural proposal, which includes three buildings: The first corresponds to the reception and housing for the resident family; the second to a restaurant with a showcase for the sale of local products, and a multipurpose room that can be used for hotel or community events; and finally the greenhouse house, where standard rooms for accommodation are integrated.
