The politics like process incorporates the individual conducts and of group that they form the political process, which means that it is in relation with the political system. The politics like result indicates the change and the situations of governance that ensue from the political activity, which in other words is the public policy, for which approaches the concept, the usefulness, the characteristics, the elements, the factors that influence the process of formation of the public policy and the cycle of the public policy integrated by the identification of the problem, the incorporation inside the political agenda, the formulation of solutions and decisions, the implementation and the evaluation.El presente artículo tiene como propósito identificar y analizar las dimensiones de la política. La política como estructura hace referencia a las formas de organización política y a las instituciones que integran el Estado, es decir, esta dimensión está en función del régimen político. La política como proceso incorpora las conductas individuales y de grupo que configuran el proceso político, lo cual significa que está en relación con el sistema político. La política como resultado señala el cambio y las situaciones de gobernabilidad que resultan de la actividad política, que en otras palabras es la política pública, para lo cual se aborda el concepto, la utilidad, las características, los elementos, los factores que influyen en el proceso de formación de la política pública y el ciclo de la política pública integrado por la identificación del problema, la inclusión dentro de la agenda política, la formulación de soluciones y decisiones, la implementación y la evaluación. Cet article vise à identifier et analyser les dimensions de la politique. La politique que la structure fait référence à des formes d’organisation politique et aux institutions de l’Etat, à savoir cette dimension est fonction du régime politique. La politique comme processus intègre les comportements individuels et collectifs qui façonnent le processus politique, ce qui signifie qu’il est lié au système politique.
