In other words, there will be better results in recent discolorations than on older ones, where most likely will not observe entirely successful, arriving lately into a relapse. The purpose of this paper is to present several questions taking into account different techniques and materials used during the non-vital teeth bleaching.La decoloración de los dientes surge por varias causas que se diferencian en la apariencia, la severidad y los tipos de tratamientos. Algunos autores han reportado que, en la mayoría de los casos los dientes no vitales blanquean más rápidamente que los dientes vitales, lo que depende del tiempo de permanencia de la decoloración, es decir, se van observar mejores resultados en decoloraciones recientes que antiguas, donde muy posiblemente no se observarán resultados totalmente satisfactorios, para llegar posteriormente a una recidiva.
