description Este proyecto se propone diseñar un centro cultural para la comuna 17 de Bucaramanga, cuyo diseño responde a las necesidades de desarrollo cultural del barrio Mutis que ha sido insignia para esta ciudad. El proyecto tiene como eje central la escarpa, que distingue a la zona occidental de la meseta de Bucaramanga porque constituye un límite geológico, que por ello ha sido designada como reserva natural. En efecto, el proyecto atiende a las determinantes ambientales y sociales y se enriquece de los beneficios que proporciona su entorno. Asimismo, este proyecto brinda posibilidades de crecimiento social y cultural para la comunidad de la comuna y de manera abierta espera acoger a todos los vecinos del barrio.
