description El siguiente documento contiene información acerca de las bases teóricas y razones detrás de la realización de un proyecto que busca la creación de un modelo de gestión de datos para tener un mejor control de la gestión operacional en los procesos de las instituciones prestadoras de salud. También se describe la metodología y herramientas que se utilizarán para llevar a cabo el proyecto en un marco de trabajo enfocado en la Sociedad de Cirugía Hospital San José (HSJ), con el objetivo de brindar una serie de pautas y políticas para la gestión de datos que impacte de manera directa la toma de decisiones dentro de la institución. Además, se presenta un cronograma detallado de cinco meses que expone las diferentes actividades que se deben ejecutar para cumplir con los objetivos específicos y, por ende, el objetivo general, generando un impacto positivo en la institución.
