This paper focuses on the moment of consumption of televised social protests, particularly in relation to the rights at stake, the mediatized rights and the way audiences read them.Las protestas sociales, concebidas como acciones colectivas por las cuales se reivindican ciertos derechos, suelen encontrar su amplificación en los medios de comunicación, a cuyas reglas, sin embargo, deben someterse. Asimismo, en la recepción operan múltiples variables que cierran el sentido del discurso televisado.
