Summary:This research article shares the results achieved for an investigation entitled “Building knowledge about teaching in the context of teacher training courses addressed to university graduates”. This research is done as part of the subject “Practice Teaching and residence” of faculty of Social Communication of the National University of Córdoba-Argentina, as an Adjunct Professor in charge of this subject.This study at this early stage intended to identify and analyze the knowledge (learning) built during the career of teachers related to teaching in general and teaching a particular field of knowledge, as Social Communication.The results show some vacancies and weaknesses related to the career of teachers, a reflection that undoubtedly contributes to the field of pedagogy and didactics education.
