Description
Summary:The Magdalena Medio broke the paradigm of the homogeneous regions that has prevailed in Colombia. This is due to the continuous waves of colonization that have marked its historical development. Here’s what has prevailed is the social and cultural diversity framed within an environment of poverty, violence, radicalism and political intolerance. In that context, this article aims to analyze how culture in this region can be seen as a key to building society and promote intercultural dialogue under the scenario of peaceful coexistence and post-conflict.
