Summary: | This article gives an approach of the logics under which Pompon-Chrysanthemum production companies in the Antioquia´s Estern region are aligned with the standards and labels of Corporate Social Responsibility. The methodology used is based on the analysis categories worked by Vélez & Palacio (2017), which consists of two components: specific standards and costs and benefits of CSR standards and labels. The results of the research shows that certifications in social responsibility are valuable in international expansion processes, since they open commercial borders and make it possible to belong to global value chains, attesting that the process of production has at least the legal minimums in both environmental and human levels. |
