However, despite this, the country faces numerous restrictions such as war, drug dealing and economic recession, which prevents sustainable regional development. Nevertheless, those restrictions can motivate changes and the willing to search for general welfare.El potencial endógeno de un territorio, representado en conocimiento local o condiciones biofísicas y culturales propias, son la base para el establecimiento de modelos regionales de desarrollo, que a su vez aseguran la sostenibilidad ambiental.
