El proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito el diseño de un modelo predictivo para reconocer las variables que afectan la producción del sector agrícola en relación al tipo aguacate Hass cultivado en el municipio de Herveo, Departamento del Tolima, para que los agricultores de esta zona accedan a esta información, facilitando la toma de decisiones y que estas sean más ajustada, pero sobre todo teniendo en cuenta los pronósticos proyectados en el periodo de tiempo definido, contribuyendo de esta forma a disminuir y reducir el riesgo en la producción del cultivo de aguacate de éste tipo determinado. Para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto, se identificaron y analizaron las variables con datos históricos recolectados de diversas fuentes como la producción, rendimiento área de cosecha y de producción del aguacate tipo Hass a nivel nacional, departamental y municipal, determinando la correlación de estas con respecto a la producción, oferta y demanda del aguacate, que permita establecer el nivel de oferta del éste en el municipio de Herveo, basado en un horizonte de proyección a mediano plazo. Después, se hizo una evaluación de varios modelos de pronóstico estudiados en el marco teórico con los datos históricos en relación al municipio de Herveo, como la regresión lineal múltiple, el modelo de series de tiempo, el modelo de promedio móvil y el modelo de Suavizamiento Exponencial Simple donde se evaluaron las variables producción y área cosechada, el pronóstico del crecimiento de la producción de aguacate. A partir de los resultados encontrados se estableció que se puede hacer a través del modelo de pronóstico de series de tiempo una predicción de oferta del cultivo de aguacate, específicamente el tipo Hass. Además, concluir que la producción de aguacate Hass en el periodo de tiempo analizados presenta un comportamiento lineal, aunque la producción pronosticada es menor a la registrada realmente. |

Además, concluir que la producción de aguacate Hass en el periodo de tiempo analizados presenta un comportamiento lineal, aunque la producción pronosticada es menor a la registrada realmente.The research project aims to design a predictive model to recognize the variables that affect the production of the agricultural sector in relation to the hass avocado type grown in the municipality of Herveo, Department of Tolima, so that farmers in this area access this information, facilitating decision-making and making them more adjusted , but above all taking into account the forecasts projected over the defined time period, thus contributing to reducing and reducing the risk in the production of avocado cultivation of this particular type. To achieve the proposed objective, the variables were identified and analyzed with historical data collected from various sources such as the production, yield area of harvesting and production of Hass type avocado at the national, departmental and municipal level, determining their correlation with the production, supply and demand of the avocado, which allows to establish the level of supply of the avocado in the municipality of Herveo, based on a medium-term projection horizon. Afterwards, an evaluation of several forecast models studied in the theoretical framework was made with historical data in relation to the municipality of Herveo, such as multiple linear regression, the time series model, the moving average model and the Simple Exponential Smoothing model where the production and harvested area variables were evaluated, the forecast of the growth of avocado production.
