La idea de diseñar un objeto arquitectónico hotel Boutique surge de las calidades y características del territorio santandereano. Sus paisajes son únicos, para la captación de turistas que tiene Colombia a nivel nacional. Estos grandes escenarios naturales, y su bella arquitectura colonial se aprecian en muchos pueblos de Santander; por esta razón, se escogió aquel que tuviera el potencial turístico y una localización cercana a la capital, para el desarrollo del proyecto. El lugar seleccionado fue el municipio de Zapatoca que tiene un potencial natural, arquitectónico e histórico con un trazado urbano típico de la colonia española; pero presenta algunas debilidades en el campo hotelero, en cuanto a ofrecer un servicio de calidad e innovador, teniendo en cuenta las exigencias del turista de hoy. Para dar solución a esta situación se diseñó el objeto arquitectónico, Toca Hotel Boutique, con características coloniales de tipo posmoderno que se mantienen para no perder su identidad, es decir se le dio un nuevo valor a lo histórico, a las formas y tradiciones regionales. En el objeto arquitectónico, Toca Hotel Boutique, se hizo copia literal de algunos elementos del entorno como arcos de medio punto, zócalos, materiales del lugar, ventanería, cornisas, cubiertas en teja de arcilla cocida, que establecen una relación visual fuerte y dan a entender lo que se pretende. Los hoteles boutique han venido transformando la industria del turismo mediante la introducción de un diseño arquitectónico con sello propio, de gran calidez y una gran gama de servicios exclusivos. Cada hotel es visto como una identidad individual dentro de la ciudad, son pequeños, con un ambiente más íntimo; donde se utilizan colores y materiales propios del lugar, y contextos de emplazamiento, en algunos casos de gran valor cultural. |

Its landscapes are unique, for the attraction of tourists that Colombia has nationwide. These great natural settings, and their beautiful colonial architecture can be seen in many towns of Santander; For this reason, the one with the tourist potential and a location close to the capital was chosen for the development of the project. The selected place was the municipality of Zapatoca that has a natural, architectural and historical potential with a typical urban layout of the Spanish colony; but it presents some weaknesses in the hotel field, in terms of offering a quality and innovative service, taking into account the requirements of today's tourist. To solve this situation, the architectural object was designed, Toca Hotel Boutique, with colonial features of a postmodern type that are maintained so as not to lose their identity, that is, a new value was given to the historical, regional forms and traditions. In the architectural object, Toca Hotel Boutique, a literal copy of some elements of the environment was made such as semicircular arches, baseboards, materials of the place, window frames, cornices, covered in baked clay tile, which establish a strong visual relationship and give Understand what is intended. Boutique hotels have been transforming the tourism industry by introducing an architectural design with its own seal, of great warmth and a wide range of exclusive services.
