Description
Summary:This article is part of the results of the research Characterization of Physical Education in disciplinary and pedagogical perspective, which aimed to identify the particularities of the educational task of physical education as a school subject in some formal institutions of Bogotá. From a qualitative descriptive approach, the category of analysis corresponding to the normative dimension is presented, which was moderated by the Specific Competences proposed by Document No. 15 of the Ministry of National Education. As part of the most relevant results, it is observed that the educational task of the area is centered on actions corresponding to motor competence, neglecting the possibilities that motivate the other two specific competences. It is noted how this subject, despite having centralized its work in a single dimension, can reorient its educational impact from the recognition of students as active beings in their social fabric, aware of their constitution as unique body and with decision-making capacity on construction as individuals, provisions that are insinuated and can be motivated from the recognition and joint action of educational competences.
