El presente articulo ilustra una propuesta para implementar la actividad de mega eventos deportivos contemplada en el plan de desarrollo en el municipio de Sesquilé en el año 2024. De acuerdo con la meta de resultado: “Fomentar la recreación, la actividad física y el deporte” en el municipio de Sesquilé. El estudio, se fundamenta, en la teoría de los recursos y capacidades de Jay Barney (1991), la teoría de la contingencia de Paul Lawrence y Jay Lorsch (1967) y la teoría de sistemas, formulada por Ludwig Von Bertalanffy (1950), igualmente se desarrolla el benchmarking de los mega eventos deportivos en el ámbito internacional y nacional y la propuesta de mega eventos deportivos surge del enfoque mixto bajo el diseño secuencial explicativo. La Propuesta de gestión radica en la articulación entre las secretarias de deporte, cultura y desarrollo económico para lograr una apropiación de recursos eficaz, articulada y transversal de acuerdo con la perspectiva sistémica planteada en el estudio dando cumplimiento al plan de desarrollo 2024-2027. |

In accordance with the result goal: “Promote recreation, physical activity and sport” in the municipality of Sesquilé. The study is based on the theory of resources and capabilities of Jay Barney (1991), the contingency theory of Paul Lawrence and Jay Lorsch (1967) and the systems theory, formulated by Ludwig Von Bertalanffy (1950), Benchmarking of mega sporting events is also developed at the international and national level and the proposal for mega sporting events arises from the mixed approach under the explanatory sequential design.
