Retomando la figura del flâneur de Baudelaire, en la actualidad el caminante de la ciudad ya no deambula por las brechas del capitalismo, sino que vive del hedonismo y del consumismo. Se aborda, así, la manera como se construyen paisajes de la ciudad a partir de las guías turísticas y de la industria cultural, esta vez empleada de forma política.O ensaio discute sobre o papel do caminhante da cidade ea construção do imaginário urbano.
