Description
Summary:Through the development of the project “Axis of interconnection and revitalization between Santander and Centenario squares in the center of Bucaramanga - Santander, Colombia”, (Cadena, 2018), it was necessary the implementation of a tool applicable in the phase of analysis and diagnosis that would allow identifying and relating public and semi-public spaces. Therefore, the Nolli Map, a work carried out in 1748 by the Italian Giambattista Nolli, is retaken as a basis creating a methodology for its applicability. Thus, the postulates of reference are reinterpreted to later make an analogous version made through observation, this time, taking as urban setting the city of Bucaramanga, specifically the downtown area. The present investigation leaves open the possibility of expanding this tool for future interventions of semi-public spaces that nurture urban life throbs in public space and generate new continuities. This is the essence of this article, which condenses the main aspects of the study and the proposal for the city center.
