We have done this through the analysis of the refiguring of the components of a semiosis, in addition to the classification of different types of signs and analysis of its performance at various levels: figurative and axiological semionarrative. This semiotic model is an educational tool for measuring how through the poetic discourse in question, consisting of twenty-four very short poems, in which each song is named after a Colombian population victim of slaughter, has managed a hidden violence against human beings and environment.El presente astículo constituye un ejercicio pedagógico mediado por el análisis semiótico discursivo del poemario El Canto de las Moscas (Versión de los acontecimientos) de la poeta colombiana María Mercedes Carranza en el que hemos explorado las raíces, condiciones y mecanismos de la signifcación del poemario. Ello lo realizamos a través del análisis de la refiguración de los componentes de una semiosis, además de la clasifcación de los distintos tipos de signos y el análisis de su funcionamiento en los distintos niveles: fgurativo, semionarrativo y axiológico.
