Therefore, this paper aims at addressing succinctly the most relevant elements on environmental ethics, education in environmental values and the sustainable development paradigm.Como consecuencia de la aplicación de las doctrinas clásicas del desarrollo y crecimiento económico en el ámbitode la producción, el consumo y la vida social, que han dejado una estela de inconformidad en casi todos los aspectosde la vida, entre ellos el ético, el humano y el ambiental, surgieron a partir de mediados del siglo XX nuevas formas depensar la moral, la educación y el desarrollo.
