description Durante la práctica realizada en la Secretaría de Infraestructura del municipio de Tunja, se llevaron a cabo diversas actividades centradas en la caracterización, georreferenciación e inventario de las vías terciarias. Se implementó el uso de software de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG), como ArcMap y Google Earth, para realizar un mapeo detallado y una evaluación exhaustiva del estado de las vías en diferentes veredas. Las actividades incluyeron visitas de campo para inspeccionar las condiciones reales de la infraestructura vial, lo que permitió recopilar datos cruciales y crear capas geográficas que facilitaron el análisis y la gestión de las vías. La pasante participó activamente en el proyecto “Tramo a Tramo”, el cual se enfocó en la rehabilitación de vías urbanas, recolectando evidencia fotográfica y documentando el estado de cada segmento de carretera evaluado. Asimismo, se elaboraron informes detallados sobre los avances y logros alcanzados, promoviendo la transparencia y la rendición de cuentas ante la ciudadanía. Se actualizaron mapas de calor para reflejar visualmente las mejoras logradas en la infraestructura vial y se asistió a reuniones y capacitaciones sobre procedimientos de infraestructura. La práctica también incluyó la participación en actividades administrativas y de gestión, así como en capacitaciones sobre el uso del Sistema de Atención al Ciudadano (SAC) para mejorar la comunicación con la comunidad. En general, la experiencia adquirida durante la práctica contribuyó significativamente a la formación profesional de la pasante y tuvo un impacto positivo en la comunidad al mejorar la conectividad y la calidad de vida de los habitantes. The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, such as ArcMap and Google Earth, was implemented to carry out a detailed mapping and an exhaustive evaluation of the condition of the roads in different villages. Activities included field visits to inspect the actual conditions of the road infrastructure, which allowed the collection of crucial data and the creation of geographic layers that facilitated the analysis and management of the roads. The intern actively participated in the "Section by Section" project, which focused on the rehabilitation of urban roads, collecting photographic evidence and documenting the condition of each road segment evaluated. Detailed reports on progress and achievements were also prepared, promoting transparency and accountability to the public. Heat maps were updated to visually reflect the improvements achieved in road infrastructure, and meetings and training on infrastructure procedures were attended. The internship also included participation in administrative and management activities, as well as training on the use of the Citizen Service System (SAC) to improve communication with the community. Overall, the experience gained during the internship contributed significantly to the professional training of the intern and had a positive impact on the community by improving the connectivity and quality of life of the inhabitants.
