La Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, cuenta con un programa de regionalización el cual tiene como objetivo: Generar atención al entorno regional, sin perder presencia nacional promoviendo el derecho a la educación que amplíe los sistemas de garantías de acceso, permanencia y dé pasos hacia la igualdad, dé oportunidades para avanzar en el reconocimiento de necesidades que fortalezcan una educación inclusiva, diversa y con enfoque territorial y de género, teniendo en cuenta tanto la posición importante de la región en la afirmación de las prácticas sociales y las demandas que motivan la atención de sus jóvenes, como la esencia pública de su contribución. Actualmente se encuentran vinculados el municipio de Tunja, Duitama, Sogamoso y Chiquinquirá generando cobertura en la zona central y norte del departamento de Boyacá, para el sector occidente según el plan institucional 2.019-2.030 UPTC, el municipio a intervenir será Puerto Boyacá, proyecto que se encontró en licitación en el año 2.019 y que actualmente se encuentra en la primera etapa de construcción. Este proyecto de grado surge como la contraposición de la licitación que fue aprobada en esta infraestructura de educación superior, la cual contiene diferentes falencias, ya que se determino que dicho planteamiento no es acorde para un concepto arquitectónico sostenible. |

Currently the municipality of Tunja, Duitama, Sogamoso and Chiquinquirá are linked, generating coverage in the central and northern area of the department of Boyacá, for the western sector according to the institutional plan 2.019-2.030 UPTC, the municipality to intervene will be Prt. Boyacá, a project that was up for tender in 2019 and is currently in the first stage of construction.
