It is this opportunity on the ontological construction of the conceptual proposal of the “Glocals South”. This paper answers the question: why re-imagine the ontology of international security from the Glocals South? Thus, the hypothesis that guides the study is that by re-imagining the security ontology, one can approach the particular, local and real understanding of phenomena with a global scope and their direct implications for international security. One of the main results is that, in order to solve contemporary problems and threats, it is necessary to re-imagine the particular underlying causes of each security issue. Thus, it is possible to determine that, in this matter, the phenomena respond to complex systems of interaction in which it is necessary to reevaluate the orthodox narratives between the Global North and South for a modern configuration of "Glocals South".El objetivo principal de esta investigación es aportar nuevas perspectivas a la agenda académica en seguridad internacional. Es esta oportunidad sobre la construcción ontológica de la propuesta conceptual de los “Sures Glocales”. Este artículo responde a la pregunta ¿por qué re-imaginar la ontología de la seguridad internacional desde los Sures Glocales? Es así como la hipótesis que guía al estudio es que al re-imaginar la ontología de la seguridad se puede acercar al entendimiento particular, local y real de los fenómenos con alcance global y sus directas implicaciones en la seguridad internacional. Uno de los principales resultados es que, para solucionar los problemas y amenazas contemporáneos, es necesario re-imaginar las causas subyacentes particulares de cada asunto relativo a la seguridad.
