description	Durante la pasantía de ingeniería civil en la Gobernación de Boyacá, adscrito a la Secretaría de Infraestructura Pública, se obtuvo una experiencia valiosa y enriquecedora que permitió aplicar conocimientos teóricos en un entorno profesional real. A lo largo de esta estancia, hubo implicación en diversos proyectos que abarcaban desde la planificación y diseño hasta la supervisión y ejecución de obras civiles. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de esta pasantía fue la participación en la supervisión de proyectos de infraestructura vial. Al tener la oportunidad de colaborar con un equipo multidisciplinario en la inspección y control de calidad de diferentes tramos de carretera, asegurando que los trabajos se realizarán conforme a las especificaciones técnicas y los estándares de seguridad establecidos. Además, se contribuyó en la elaboración de informes técnicos que reflejaban el progreso de las obras, identificando posibles problemas y proponiendo soluciones efectivas. Otro componente crucial de esta formación fue la gestión de proyectos. Aprendiendo a manejar herramientas de planificación y control, como cronogramas y presupuestos, lo cual fue esencial para garantizar el cumplimiento de los plazos y el uso eficiente de los recursos. Asimismo, familiarizar con los procedimientos administrativos y normativos necesarios para la correcta ejecución de las obras públicas, lo que proporcionó una visión integral del funcionamiento de una entidad gubernamental en el sector de la infraestructura. La interacción con los distintos profesionales de la Secretaría de Infraestructura Pública permite adquirir una comprensión más profunda de los retos y responsabilidades que conlleva la ingeniería civil en el ámbito público. Esta experiencia no solo ayudó a consolidar habilidades técnicas, sino también a desarrollar competencias en comunicación, trabajo en equipo y resolución de problemas, que son fundamentales para la futura carrera profesional. En resumen, la pasantía en la Gobernación de Boyacá fue una etapa crucial en la formación como ingeniero civil. La combinación de conocimientos teóricos y prácticos que obtuve durante este periodo me ha preparado de manera sólida para enfrentar los desafíos de esta profesión y contribuir de manera efectiva al desarrollo de proyectos de infraestructura que beneficien a la comunidad. Palabras clave: Supervisión, Control de calidad, Ingeniería civil, Estudios y Diseños, Infraestructura.During the civil engineering internship at the Government of Boyacá, which is assigned to the Department of Public Infrastructure allowed me to acquire valuable and enriching experience which lead myself to apply my theoretical knowledge in a real professional environment. Throughout my internship, I was involved in severous projects which covered from planning and design to supervision and execution of civil works. One of the highlights of my internship was my involvement at supervising road infrastructure projects. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the inspection and quality control of different sections of road, ensuring that the work will be carried out in accordance with the technical specifications and established safety standards. In addition, I contributed with the preparation of technical reports that reflected the progress of the works, identifying possible problems and proposing effective solutions. Another crucial component of my training was project management because I learned how to use and manage the planning and control tools, such as schedules and budgets. This was essential to guarantee the compliance of the deadlines and the efficient use of resources. Likewise, I became familiar with the administrative and regulatory procedures, which are necessary for the correct execution of public works, which provided to myself a comprehensive vision of the functioning of a government entity at the infrastructure sector. My interaction with the different professionals at the Department of Public Infrastructure allowed me to acquire a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities that civil engineering entails in the public sphere. This experience not only helped me to consolidate my technical skills, but also helped me to develop skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving, which are essential for my future professional career. In summary, my internship at the Government of Boyacá was a crucial stage in my training as a civil engineer. The combination of theoretical and practical knowledge that I obtained during this period has solidly prepared me to face the challenges of my profession and contribute effectively to the development of infrastructure projects that will benefit the community.
