Description
Summary:This article tries to understand the metaethic thoughts of Emmanuel Levinas according to the perspectives of a possible universalistic ethics. In addition, it means and re-means some of the principal postulates of his ethical theories. First of all, it presents the etymological foundation of the Alterius. Secondly, Levinas shows himself a possible relation between the ethical theories with other philosophers such as Foucault and Ricoeur. In third instance, it pays attention to the critique of “There” from Heidegger versus “There is” from Levinas. And finally, the ethic is analized based on the point of view of the language and the poetry inside the look of Levinas about Maurice Blanchot.
