Description
Summary:This article corresponds to a micro-research study whose purpose was to identify the underlying logic in the patterns of behavior observed in the users of two road crossings in the city of Cali, understanding the hypothesis that such logic corresponded to a symbolic structure that caused the behavior observed in the present and then led to a subsequent action, as appears in their background records. This symbolic structure is called Urban Drama in this document, a concept whose origins lie on the dramatic proposal of Erving Goffman’s microsociology. The concern raised was solved by mentioning some of the main urban dramas identified in the two crossings. At the end, some of the implications of these dramas in citizens’ daily lives are highlighted.
