Summary:This degree work was based on developing an improvement plan to reduce waste in the staple production process in the company General Metálica Of the hand with the Lean 6 sigma Methodology, where a gap in the process was visualized and the opportunity to decrease the variable% was estimated. Is calculated in the form of nonconforming product / conformal finished product. The methodology is supported mainly in statistics through the phases of the DMAIC methodology which by its acronym stands for Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control, this allows to make visible the needs of each and every one of the processes, activities or tasks that are presented in a company already Whether of services or production, because when working with multifunctional groups, it allows to measure the current performance in order to find the root cause of the failure Presented, later also allows to implement improvements and to evaluate the behavior once executed the plan of improvement.
