En el presente artículo.desde varios autores (Freud, 1893; 1895; 1896; 1900; 1926; 1912; 1913; Milmaniene, 1995; Cyrulnik, 1994; entre others)se revisa la relación entre el concepto de incesto y la formación del trauma. En este sentido, se caracteriza el tabú del incesto como fenómeno universal considerado como un principio organizador y legislador humano, cuya transgresión desarrolla el trauma en los niños sujetos a esta situación.
