Summary:	This paper presents results of a research project that aims to develop a landscape architectural proposal with the objective of reconfiguring the spatial and environmental structure of the white beach sector located on the island of Barú Cartagena. The research process developed combines qualitative and quantitative data which describe the main characteristics of the area and measures the percentage of acceptance of the project from the perspective of natives, traders and tourists. It is concluded and ratified that the problems affecting the area lie in the spatial disorganization, and the implementation of this project would be a significant contribution from the area of architecture taking into account the low implementation of this type of Projects in beach area under a landscape trend that mouth the axes, environmental, cultural and formal that allow the control of the problems present.
