Summary:This article explores the various jurisprudential positions that the Supreme Court has in arbitration matters in cases of annulment of arbitral awards. Arbitration in Colombia has acquired a greater importance since the issuance of Law 1563 of 2012, however, closing bodies such as the Supreme Court of Justice, through some of its pronouncements, which has made it possible to generate an interpretive gear of arbitration, especially when analyzing nullity appeals in arbitration awards. This article initially explores the edges of the legal and legal nature of the arbitration, subsequently, the development of the National Commercial Arbitration is studied and finally there are some cases of nullities of arbitration awards in pronouncements that the Supreme Court of Justice and the State Council have done on the matter. Successfully determining that these judicial bodies have allowed themselves to establish pronouncements aimed at the legal operation of the annulment actions in arbitration and their procedural provenance before the highest body of the ordinary jurisdiction.
