| Summary: | The objective of this work is to design a system of inventory control of spare parts in washing machine and refrigerator in “central de repuestos y servicios Whirlpool”. The focus of the study was descriptive and practical. The methodology was based on carrying out a characterization in which information was collected based on observation, to identify the internal processes in the company, collecting historical sales data from previous years. Subsequently, a forecasting system, which was developed with computer tools, in which the behavior of demand was simulated, seeking to find the most appropriate technique was built. Finally with the predicted demand and inventory control policy was selected and the model managing to control the excesses and missing inventory was implemented. |
