Summary:The speed of the straight in the baseball pitchers in the city the of Cartagena, especially in the Club Deportivo Comfenalco, takes on higt relevance sicne its realization yields a result that details and points out the possible causes that generate it and consequently shows lights to proceed to face it for the sake of improvement. The present research recognizes the importance of the speed of the straight in baseball pitchers in the age range between 15-16 years; aspect that has a high significance in the process of formation and consolidation of an adequate performance in the course of the sports career that the young people who make up this sport estate. However, the research tackles this problem from the theme of the Speed of throwing the str aight line, seeking to develop and improve the muscle structure that make up these segment s, through the application of a battery of plyometric exercises to help strengthen them.
