Summary: | This project describes the implementation developed as a functional prototype of a timing and speed variation system for 4 Cowles agitators belonging to the solvent based inks process of the company Sun Chemical Yumbo. The implementation of this functional prototype is developed using 3 fundamental elements, the first is the Human-Machine Interface or HMI TP177B that allows the supervision and control of the system, the second is the Programmable Logic Controller or PLC S7-300 which is located in the Control level, the third one is the Danfoss VLT FC51 Speed Variable that fulfills the function of varying the speed of the engine connected to it and finally we have the ¼ Hp motor from Cassi Power Transmission with power at 440V and 160 RPM as Nominal Speed. |
