Description
Summary:The present work aims to explore the application of an internationalization strategy in two cities which is commonly used with companies such as the Joint Venture. The proposal is to apply this strategy in business tourism based on Bleisure. To this end, the research focused on exploring two cities with similar potential in the tourism industry such as Medellin, Colombia and Quito, Ecuador. The methodology focused on the bibliographic review of reports that described the potential of both cities in business tourism, complemented by the application of interviews with experts. It was found that both cities have similarities in competitiveness in business events. As a conclusion, and without taking into account the sector's outlook in the post-covid 19 era, Medellin and Quito have important possibilities to articulate business proposals that strengthen business tourism
