| Summary: | Since the middle of the century, particularly in the last decades, a process of religious diversification has occurred in Colombia. The arrival of new religious groups to the country, especially of the Pentecostal movement, has finished with the traditional religious monopoly of the Catholic Church. The present Works explores the ways in which the Catholic Church has replied to this new context. Religious pluralization has produced a reconfiguration of the relation that the Catholic Church has toward the colombian state and society. |
