Summary:	The development of a society goes hand in hand with the creation of different areas for those who inhabit it, relating it to the public and urban spaces of the city of Medellín. The problem is evident in the analysis of public and urban spaces, arises when identifying the lack and dis-continuity of the public space of the Sacred Heart of Jesús Neighborhood, the lack of relations-hip with the religious character and the invasion of the few existing public areas. It focuses on a social character where it is proposed to generate a design proposal, urban-architectural that enhances the church through urban and social connections in the public space. The ob-jective of the research is To restructure the public space of the axis of the race 57 to creating urban connections between the Cisneros station and plaza mayor, proposing alternatives for a pedestrian continuity having as research question. What architectural urban actions are ne-cessary for the improvement in the disconnection of the public space and its relationship with the sacred church Corazón de Jesús? When we talk about public spaces, we say the space of public property (state), public domain and use is the place where anyone has the right to move in peace and harmony.
