Summary:In the present study, it is evident that the collaborators of the Liberator Medellin are happy at work. Through the results given by the application of a questionnaire shows what are the psychosocial factors associated with happiness, then develops a theoretical description of each factor found and demonstrate the relationship that exists between happiness at work and optimism. The research is mixed, quantitative method where statistical and qualitative analysis will be carrying out an analysis of content and the triangulation of information according to the theory. The main results of the quantitative analysis were: the 100 % of the people surveyed are happy at work, 92% of the people feel valued at work, 48.6% of the people the work means welfare, 94% considered that it has improved their quality of life by working in the Libertador S.A., 84% think that their happiness impacts the results of strategic indicators and the 100% of the collaborators are considered optimistic, strong and persistent in their work. 31 people feel happy and optimistic. In the analysis of content made to the open question was able to give an answer to the question of research, what are the psychosocial factors associated with happiness at work?, 7 were found registration units which 3 of them respond to positive emotional states, based on the theory of Seligman 1998.
