Summary:In PROM currently exist for the development of a blowing machine processes six injection molding machines, which contribute to the formation of a final product (vaginal applicators, syringes, injectable packaging, carrier injection, etc.). From a cost analysis, identifies the area blow extrusion has a high percentage of waste of raw materials, which has affected the company incurring low yields and even in lost production cost. Evidenced this problem the steps set out to find the causes of this and build solution to it, initially detecting what types of waste presented and then moving to a data collection where a matrix was implemented in order to classify the types of defects. All this with the purpose of seeking to reduce the percentage of nonconforming product waste in the company presenting PROM. To carry out this project, worked under the Six Sigma methodology it consists of the following steps: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. tools such as herringbone, FMEA, analysis of Added Value, among others supplied in the course, which help us to detect the main causes of the problem.
