Summary:This thesis adress the design and implementation of a real-time adaptive system the crosstalk cancellation based on the position of a listener using only two conventional loudspeakers. A numerical analysis is carried out in matlab to simulate the sound field and evaluate the mathematical model for cancellation proposed by Choueiri in [1]. The formulation of the inverse problem leads to certain restrictions that are identified and regularized using two different approaches. A real-time implementation of adaptive system is conducted. Furthermore, an objective metric is proposed to assess the performance and robustness of the crosstalk cancellation scheme
