Summary:In this paper are presented the results of the mechanical, physical and chemical characterization of chitosan films of low and medium molecular weight, with added plasticizers sorbitol and glycerol at concentrations of 0%, 3% and 5% ; which by means of mechanical tests and degradation tests was chosen the favorable formulation to be spiked with graphene oxide at concentrations of 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.15% and 0.2% to improve its mechanical properties and obtain an ideal material to elaboration scaffolds by electrospinning method and / or lyophilization.
