Description
Summary:The Event Interaction Graph (EIG) is a tool which represents the relation and occurrence of events in a software application. Some authors commonly use this graph in business logic for representing the event interaction within the system. In this context, events are linked to operations and functions of the graphical user interface (GUI). Trigger and result events are responsible for changing the state of the business processes. However, there are no artifacts representing the interaction among these events. For this reason, in this paper we propose an adaptation of the EIG for representing the interaction of trigger and result events in requirement engineering processes. We employ a pre-conceptual-schema-based notation as a basis for representing the events.
