Summary: | The appraisals and social perceptions on the work and the family have not changed to the same pace with which the labor market has transformed, for such a motive, this investigation tries to deepen on this phenomenon employment - family that with great force one has come establishing thanks to numerous factors of social, individual, political and managerial character. This article analyzes the perception that has from the place of the workers concerning the policies and instruments organizational that facilitate a balance so much in the labor as familiar sphere. One took hard-working six as a unit of analyses that concerned to four companies linked to the sector of the great trade and stores of chain of the city of Santiago of Cali (Colombia), having in it counts a series of attributes of homogeneity and heterogeneity. It was in use as instrument of compilation of the information, the interview in depth. The results were divided in categories and subcategories, the category of policies organizational takes as a subcategory hours of labor day, days to the week of the labor day, fulfillment of vacations and granted days and type of labor contract; the category instruments organizational has as subcategory I handle of schedules and shifts, managing of overtime, flexibility in permissions, managing communication in the labor day and perception of the current work. The study concludes that, for the sector of the great trade and stores of chain, to balance the familiar and labor life in his workers it is a commitment that is had in debt, and which must be a basic factor inside the labor dynamics, since the absence of policies and instruments organizational that promote the above mentioned balance, does that the workers increasingly feel lacking in strategies that allow them to harmonize the labor and familiar sphere. |
