The results of this review allowed to identify that only 37.50% of the RACs implement the index recommended by IDEAM. Additionally, it was obtained that for the 62.50% of the RACs that implemented a different index from the IDEAM one, 55.17% of them could implement it in case they required it from the Environmental and Sustainable Development Ministry

Así mismo, se han realizado 58 PORH en el país. De estos PORH, se extrajo información sobre los índices de calidad del agua implementados, con el fin de reconocer si se hacía uso del índice de calidad del agua recomendado por el IDEAM en la Guía metodológica para le elaboración de los PORH y usado en el Estudio Nacional del Agua (ENA) o si por el contrario se implementaba otro índice diferente. Los resultados de esta revisión permitieron identificar que sólo el 37.50% de las CAR implementan el índice recomendado por el IDEAM.
