Summary:In the present work, the ancestral practices and knowledge of the Afro-Pacific Colombian midwifery abe be exposed, in order to rescue the current tradition in the 2017 safeguarding plan as intangible cultural heritage of the national scope, thus proposing from the imaginary of the midwives belonging to the association of united midwives of the Pacific Asoparupa, a laboratory of ancestral knowledge and practices of the Afro-Pacific Colombian midwifery called by themselves Etnoaldea, for the abersial of information from the experimental and the sensory
