| Summary: | The Architectural Project is a complex synthesis in which multiple knowledges and methodological procedures converge in its development, linking artistic, scientific and technical aspects. An architects formation process, which implies a project of human being that goes beyond his/her architectural work, requires structures that connect the discipline, knowledge, and practice with social responsibility: a reflective, autonomous, and critical individual. There are creative, empirical-analytical, operational or critical methods in Architecture, while its teaching, which cannot be strictly placed under these categories, demands for the interaction of research and practical-reflective processes that overcome instrumental action in order to solve the tensions between objectual practice and the construction of subjectivity. |
